i bought a medion computer wihich will take a digitla tv feed, i am wondering if i can put the cable str8 into computer without the need of the ntl box ?

Nope. NTL only re-broadcast the analogue 1-5, and in some areas there's
the odd analogue cable channel unencrypted (VH1, News 24, Sky News and
QVC round here - hardly thrilling viewing!), which I fully expect to
disappear when they've shifted all of their analogue customers onto the
newer digital platform.

yep
you can but u might not get too much.
look on vhf-e you might get some feeds other than ch.1--5.

yep
Nope. He has a digital card. Not too sure if these support analogue (I
doubt it) but I'm pretty sure NTL don't broadcast freeview down the cable.

i am not familuar with these digital cardss
i though they still were capable of getting normal tv sig..sorry
